I worked with Board Women ahead of their launch to shape the brand story, strategy and marketing content, bringing the business idea to life with confidence, clarity and impact.
From the beginning, the goal was to build a bold and relatable voice to inspire a loyal community of adventurous women. The story needed to feel empowering, joyful and real, rooted in the idea that transformation is possible at any stage of life.

I developed a commercial and creative content strategy designed to do three things:
establish the brand
nurture a loyal, engaged community
support key business goals
Working closely with the founder, I created and delivered a complete Instagram content plan — five original posts a week, plus a bank of curated content to share across daily Stories. Everything was scheduled and batch-created a month in advance, built around four interwoven storylines that kept the brand’s voice consistent, creative and clear:
The Brand – bringing its mission and message to life with warmth and clarity
Women & Board Sports – honest, relatable stories of middle life, courage, fear and fun
The Podcast – celebrating brilliant guests, memorable quotes and bold ideas
Events & Retreats – encouraging community, connection and shared adventure
Alongside content creation, I provided ongoing community management, from replying to comments to reaching out personally to key accounts and individuals to introduce them to the brand and grow the network.
A clear editorial calendar shaped every decision, with regular strategy calls and monthly analytics to review results, spot new opportunities and refine the content based on what was working.
To support the founder’s long-term content needs, I also created a set of branded templates, making it easy to repurpose and expand the work across other platforms.
This was a comprehensive strategy, thoughtfully crafted not just to launch a brand, but to provide the founder with clarity, momentum, and the tools to grow her idea into a thriving, community-led business.
